Founded by Phil—a seasoned entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience running local service businesses—Whimsy and Mirth was born out of a passion for craftsmanship and a desire to bring a "pop" of joy to every event.
Based in Hamilton, Ontario... we proudly serve Greater Hamilton, Burlington, through to the Niagara Region, and beyond, providing premium balloon artistry and professional event entertainment.

Forest Phil the Balloon Animal Ranger: Specializing in children’s birthday parties, school workshops, and library events. Forest Phil brings a world of imagination to life with intricate balloon animals and interactive storytelling, and music that keeps kids (and parents!) captivated.
Phil the Balloon Guy: For corporate events, Stag and Does, weddings, and fundraisers, Phil provides a whimsical, high-energy entertainment experience. Phil leads a team of incredible balloon decorators who create fabulous columns and arches. Phil is best known for creating whimsical "wearable" balloon art and dance floor creations which add a unique interactive element that breaks the ice and gets the party popping!

To provide a complete entertainment package, Whimsy and Mirth is proud to partner with the creative and fun Face Painter - Amy Rose of Joyful Memories in Stoney Creek. Amy is a master of her craft, offering professional, high-quality face painting ,that kids love, and complements our balloon designs perfectly. Together, we offer a "one-stop shop" for birthday parties, special events, fundraisers, and community festivals.
